English Premier League: Matchweek 2 Saturday

The handicaps will be a little brief until we build more information on the teams heading into the season. Passing on the Liverpool game due to the price and I do not care to lay 2 goals or more.

English Premier League: (0.00 units)

  • 9:00am cst: Fulham (+175) vs. Brentford (+165)

I like this Fulham squad especially at home. They had a nice win late on the road against Everton last weekend as well while Brentford earned a draw against Tottenham. I have Fulham rated as the better team and playing at home with this price? I like it.

Pick: Fulham (+175) [DraftKings]

  • 9:00am cst: Wolverhampton (+295) vs. Brighton (-110)

Brighton has the Wolves’ number recently but a (-110) price on the road is not the best and not something I would recommend. In my opinion, long term that is a bad habit. I have to pass on this game but I look forward to watching how the Wolves perform at home.

Pick: NA

  • 11:30am cst: Tottenham (+185) vs. Manchester United (+135)

Life with at Harry Kane for Tottenham has begun. This is usually a high scoring affair so I can only look towards the total on the game. Man U favored on the road is not an ideal choice but there is a nice Hotspur number posted. I’m sticking with the total.

Pick: Total Over 3 (-118) [BetOnline]

  • 2:00pm cst: Manchester City (-130) vs. Newcastle (+340)

Newcastle is much improved the past year and a half but they are still not on the same level as Man City. If they were at home I would take a shot with them but they aren’t. City will be without Kevin De Bryune but that should not matter in this one. I am curious though because Man City did open -222 and the moneyline is now -130. I’m not passing up on this number as it will run by gametime.

Pick: Manchester City (-130)
