College Baseball 24 Pack: #1 LSU Tigers
Senior Gavin Dugas led the LSU Tigers at the plate this weekend as LSU stays #1 after opening weeknd.
We had plenty of action opening weekend where we saw #2 Tennessee Volunteers drop 2 out its 3 games tumbling all the way down to #23. LSU remains in the #1 spot after a huge weekend from senior Gavin Dugas. Dugas went 6/8 with 3 R, 2 HR & 2 RBI in an impressive performance batting this weekend. He wasn’t the only one getting in on the action. Freshman Jared Jones was 4/8 with 4 R, 2 2B, 3 BB & 3 RBI contributing in a huge way. Top prospect Dylan Crews had a great weekend too. This team is stacked offensively so it’s no surprised they remain #1 in the 24 Pack rankings.
The largest riser this week is the mighty Red Raiders of Texas Tech after impressive 4 game sweep of Gonzaga who doesn’t have a scrub squad. TCU also had a huge weekend in Arlington winning 2/3 games against some of best competition in the country. This season is just getting started!
