• 5:45pm cst: Wagner Seahawks vs. Howard Bison -3; Total 128

Wagner does not have much for offense but they have a decent defense. Howard has a great offense that loves to shoot the three. They also gained some tournament experience last season, pushing Kansas as far as they could. I will back the Bison offense. If things get tough for Wagner offensively, I would rather have the team that can make up buckets in crunch time.

Pick: Howard -3 (-112) [via DraftKings]

• 8:00pm cst: Virginia Cavaliers vs. Colorado State Rams -2.5; Total 121

Virginia has a solid defense and they can shoot the three, but offensively, they are not very good. The Cavaliers also miss too many free throws. It’s just hard to trust Virginia, especially offensively. As for Colorado State, who knows what they will have on either side of the ball. They have been good but have also been a no-show in big games, mainly on the road. Virginia should have lost to Boston College in the ACC Tournament as well. I would rather go down with a ticket on CSU than Virginia and their offense. They have not won an NCAA Tournament game since their National Championship run.
