College Hoops Big Monday
The #4 Texas Longhorns travel to Allen Fieldhouse to take on #13 Kansas Jayhawks in a Big 12 battle.
Another winning day on Sunday so let’s keep it going. We have a much smaller slate today but we do have two huge games in the ACC and Big 12. It’s a small card for Monday but every day we get closer to March Every game counts. Let’s jump into it! Also, we will be trying to stream for the games so check us out & follow! DDSN Twitch
Tarleton State Texans (-1.5) vs. UT Arlington Mavericks; total 129.5; 4:00pm ct
UT Arlington hosts Tarleton State today in a make up game. Billy Gillispie’s Texans play great defense and the Mavericks are one of the worst offensive teams in the country. Tarleton State hasn’t won a road game this season but I think they are due. The Texans defense should carry them today.
Duke Blue Devils vs. Miami Hurricanes (-3); total 145.5; 6:00pm ct
We speak almost every week about how poor Duke has been playing on the road. These two have met earlier in the year and Miami pushed Duke to the end but the Blue Devils prevailed. Miami and its offense is one of the best in the country. Duke is coming off a huge win at home against rival North Carolina. Duke is healthy but Miami is on fire right now and I trust them at home.
Texas Longhorns vs. Kansas Jayhawks (-4); total 146; 8:00pm ct
The Longhorns are coming off a huge road win against Kansas State. Do they have another upset in them in the Sunflower state? Kansas is off an embarrassing road loss to Iowa State. The Jayhawks lack in the defense department and their offense either can’t miss or is ice cold. This is a huge game in regards to the Big 12 standings. Situationally I don’t think UT has another big game in them on the road. They played a terrible 1st half against K-State and then had an incredible 2nd half. Will the UT defense step up like they did in the 2H against K-State? I made this game 6 so with KU laying 4 I would play the Jayhawks. Remember just last week Kansas laid 8.5 vs. K-State and covered. Kansas also gets a very friendly whistle at home. I’ll take the Jayhawks in a great situational spot and a bad one for UT.
