College Hoops Friday

Greg Paulus leads his Niagara Purple Eagles at home tonight vs. Quinnipiac looking to extend their winning streak to 5 games.

The Stanford Cardinal cost us a losing night after going ice cold and only scoring 2 points in the final six minutes while Arizona State went on a 14-2 run to close out those last six minutes. We move! Let’s keep this Friday slate exactly what it is - short and sweet! A little taste before a big weekend. Let’s get after it!

Also, we’ll be streaming discussing the games and other sports talk so come hangout & follow along! DDSN Twitch (No Friday stream but follow for next stream!)

Kent State Golden Flashes vs. Buffalo Bulls (+4.5); total 153; 5:00pm

Huge MAC game on Friday. I like the dogs here who have had success against Kent State lately. The home team is primed for an upset here.

Siena Saints (-4) vs. Mount Saint Mary’s Mountaineers; total 126.5; 6:00pm

Must win MAAC game for Siena to keep pace with the top of the conference. The Saints are 1 game out of first place while the Mountaineers are one of the worst teams in the conference. I see the Saint Bernard’s bouncing back after dropping two in a row. Must win.

Fairfield Stags vs. Rider Broncos (-4.5); total 132; 6:00pm ct

Rider is looking to stay in 1st place in the MAAC. The Fairfield Stags have dropped its last 3 games and did not cover any of those spreads. With Iona hot on Riders hooves they cannot afford to not show up tonight.

Quinnipiac Bobcats vs. Niagara Purple Eagles (+2); total 132.5; 6:00pm ct

The Purple Eagles are on a hot streak winnings its past 4 games. You may recognize Niagara head coach Greg Paulus who played point guard at Duke. The Purple Eagles aren’t getting the respect they deserve at home tonight. Imma take a shot with the dogs who have been on fire.

Saint Louis Billikens (+5.5) vs. Dayton Flyers; total 136.5; 7:00pm ct

The Billikens now play the underdog something they have not experienced in some time. Dayton has struggled recently as a favorite. The Flyers are coming off a huge win against VCU on the road. Huge game to decide 2nd place of the Atlantic 10 right behind VCU. Too many points here. Billikens need to protect the ball and be aggressive on offense.
