11:00AM CST: East Carolina Pirates (-250) vs. VCU Rams (+190); Total 12.5
ECU knocked out Wake Forest and I think that will give them the momentum they at home to take care of business against VCU. I’m not sure how much VCU has left in the tank especially their pitching.

11:00AM CST: LSU Tigers (-280) vs. Wofford Terriers (+210); Total 12
I have been impressed by Wofford’s pitching this weekend. LSU like many teams that were hot last week, have been cold this weekend. The advantage LSU has here would be starting pitching but all the pressure is on the Tigers. LSU could finally have a breakout game but I think Wofford has the confidence to keep this game close enough.

11:00AM CST: High Point Panthers (+240) vs. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (-330); Total 14.5
High Point took Clemson to the brink and then upset Vandy yesterday. Can they keep it going? Coastal has looked good and nearly defeated Clemson. I am expecting another close game in this Regional.

11:00AM CST: Mississippi State Bulldogs (-238) vs. St. John’s Red Storm (+180); Total 12.5
The Bulldogs had a victory in their hands but like the Texas Longhorns they could not convert an easy out from the infield. Their second baseman had back-to-back errors leading to a bottom of the ninth inning loss. There was some bad body language from the MSU pitcher after the error. The opposite happened after St. John’s blew their game against Penn. The Johnnies picked themselves back up and fought back for a victory. I like the Johnnies to score the upset because of their momentum.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. All James Madison had to do was not pitch to Cole Messina in a clutch situation. They did it anyway and loss the game. Rookie mistake. I don’t think they make that same mistake today. James Madison has the talent and South Carolina is always in tight games that comedown to the final strike. I like the upset and will also scoop up the runs.

Don’t let the name fool you. The Hatters can play some baseball. I feel like this is a close to even matchup. We have UCF 400/1 to win it all. I think Stetson can win this game. They should also be well rested.

Indiana State is a good team that could not get out of the blocks against Illinois in their first matchup. I think they get revenge, and a date with Kentucky.

Georgia Tech got destroyed by UNCW in their first matchup. We have GT long to win it all (unlikely) but you never know. I like a good revenge game.

Southern Miss. started out ice cold, getting whipped by Indiana in game one. It is hard not to back Southern Miss in this game. Which offense shows up?

All the pressure is on the Razorbacks. Will they come out tight or dominate? We have been on this SEMO team and they can swing the bat. Arkansas may be dealing with some confidence issues especially the pitching, which is its strength. I’ll take the runs with the chance that SEMO goes toe-to-toe with Arkansas.

We missed on the Huskers the first time they went up against Florida. Today, I think they get revenge on the Gators. The total seems high. I’m not sure how much pitching Florida has left in the tank.

Texas has used up some of its best arms but it’s hard to deny this offense. I think Texas will do whatever it takes to get a rematch with Texas A&M after they way they blew that game.

Neither of these teams have looked like themselves during this Regional. Oklahoma pitching has been off and the Duke offense has been off. Who will show up when it matters on elimination day? My bet is on Duke.
