We have a great pitching matchup between a couple Top 10 MLB draft picks. Wake Forest will have Chase Burns on the mound against Trey Yesavage in the Jungle. I was hoping for a better price on ECU but I’ll take it. I rather have the home team in this situation with its back up against the wall at a plus price.

Penn is pesky but so is this St. John’s team. They took Mississippi State to the brink in game 1 and they should take care of business in this one. It won’t be easy but I am backing the Johnnies.

11:00AM CST: Bryant Bulldogs (+250) vs. James Madison Dukes (-345); Total 14
James Madison lost a heartbreaker yesterday. That is why I think they stay locked in for another potential rematch with South Carolina or face-off with NC State. The Dukes know they can play at a high level but they must get past Bryant first.

11:00AM CST: Alabama Crimson Tide (-315) vs. Stetson Hatters (+230); Total 13
Taking the ML here is tempting but I do think the hatters can keep this game close against Alabama. The outright win is tempting but I will stick on the safe side with the runs. Alabama has not impressed me and Stetson is always a live dog.

Southern Miss was embarrassed at home yesterday against Indiana. I am expecting they wake up and have a big game against Northern Kentucky.

11:00AM CSt: Long Island Sharks (+380) vs. Wofford Terriers (-580); Total 14.5
Both of these teams lost heartbreakers in the bottom of the ninth inning. They each have confidence now but it’s elimination time. I think Wofford is a little over valued at -580. I’ll take the runs with a Sharks team that showed it has some pop in their bats. Which team can get off the mat?

I hate laying huge numbers like this but I think it’s warranted in this matchup. This Nebraska team has plenty of potential and proved they can play with the best in this Regional. I’m going to lay it with the Huskers because something tells me they will light up this Niagara bunch.

Like I said above, I don’t like laying huge numbers but with Jonathan Santucci on the mound in a must win game, I am expecting him to shut down Oral Roberts. This Duke offense is also due for a big game.

I have said this once and I will say it again, I am not high on this Arizona team and they are a bit overvalued. This Dallas Baptist offense was kept quiet against West Virginia. I think they wake up in this game.

The Battle of Louisiana in the Pacific Northwest. Who would’ve thunk it? As I discussed yesterday, Tulane rode its green wave all the way into the NCAA Tournament but I feel the waters have mellowed out. This is what happened last year. I’ll take the dogs who want to show up big brother.

This game is being moved up from 5PM CST to 3PM due to incoming weather. I think Illinois is a team that can play at a high level. Kentucky is inconsistent especially in big spots. I’ll take the dog price with the time change to throw things off.

Clemson has struggled at home recently in Regionals, historically speaking. I cannot lay any runs with Clemson, especially the way they played last night. It is just too dicey with them -200. Give me the Chanticleers who are strutting around with confidence after the way they beat Vanderbilt yesterday.

4:00PM CST: LSU Tigers (+105) vs. North Carolina Tar Heels (-135); Total 10.5
The matchup we all have been waiting for since Monday. Who to trust after yesterday’s games? It’s hard to go against LSU and that offense. They will also have solid starting pitching. North Carolina is the same. I’m sticking with my guns and I’m playing the Tar Heels. I don’t blame anyone that goes the other way.

The Bulldogs have been struggling. We have UGA long but this price is wrong in my opinion. This is too heavy towards Georgia against a game Seahawks team.

I stand by my original opinion that the Virginia Cavaliers are just not as good as they were last season. Mississippi State has impressed me this season. I smell an upset.

The Cardiac Cocks struck again yesterday. I just think that string of luck will run out tonight. It’s not so much luck as teams keep pitching to Cole Messina when they don’t have to and he makes them pay. Don’t turn your back on the Wolfpack!

What a great #4 vs. #3 matchup we have here! VCU is very underrated. They have won seven games in a row now and took down all tough competion on their non conference schedule. Let’s see if this Rams team can keep going.

Oklahoma State is firing on all cylinders right now. Florida always has a chance with Jac Caglianone on the mound. I’m not high on Florida and haven’t been all season. I rather lay the runs even with a nice number on the Gators.

FSU is a great club but like we have been saying all season, the UCF Knights can play with anyone in the country. We have them 400/1 but they are still worth a shot as a huge dog tonight.

I still think UConn may be a pretender. They took care of business against Duke but will they be able to do that against this Oklahoma pitching?

Texas A&M have been one of the best teams in the country all season. They disappointed in the SEC Tournament but I am sure they will be ready with the Longhorns in town. Texas finally looked great offensively but now will be going up against great Aggie pitching. The Longhorns also saved their best arms for tonight. In a rivalry game it’s worth taking a chance with Texas at this price.

8:00PM CST: Arkansas Razorbacks (-395) vs. Kansas State Wildcats (+280); Total 10
I am seeing this price with Arkansas and total at 10, I know Hagen Smith is pitching tonight. He looked off in his last start in the SEC Tournament. Will Arkansas’ offense replicate that performance after scoring 17 runs yesterday? Kansas State’s offense had just as good of a game. I’ll take the runs in what could be a tight game. Maybe K-State has some adrenaline running from this morning. I’m willing to take the ML shot with KSU because of the way Hagen Smith looked in his last start. He just didn’t look right. It’s worth a shot.
