College Baseball season is making its triumphant return! Following our highly successful run last year, we are back with heightened expectations for an even more thrilling season.

When it comes to our wagers, we place a bet of 1 unit to win x. For baseball, we set a floor at -165. While this might seem like a steep price, there are instances where the number should be -200.

In games where we have both a Money Line (ML) and Run Line (RL) bet, you have the flexibility to choose the price that suits you best, instead of playing both.

College Baseball Record: 21-25-1 (-4.97) units)

  • 1:00pm cst: Wichita State Shockers (+260) vs. Virginia Cavaliers (-360); Total 14

Wichita State only had 11 players return coming into the season and hired a new coach. They are dealing with an entirely new team. Virginia will have a strong LHP on the mound in Evan Blanco. The Shockers will have LHP Caden Favors (6.35 ERA) who I would not be comfortable backing against the Virginia offense. It’s a large RL to lay here but we are fading the Shockers.

Pick: Virginia -3.5 (-120) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:00pm cst: Washington State Cougars (+180) vs. Kentucky Wildcats (-238); Total 12

I feel like Kentucky may be slightly overvalued on the ML in this game. Washington State is no stranger to this tournament where they defeated Texas A&M last season. I will take a flier with Wazzu.

  • 3:00pm cst: West Virginia Mountaineers (-105) vs. Charlotte 49ers (-125); Total 12.5

Pick: Charlotte (-125) [via DraftKings]

  • 4:00pm cst: East Carolina Pirates (-140) vs North Carolina Tar Heels (+110); Total 11.5

We should have a great game and pitching matchup in this one! The Pirates will have RHP Trey Yesavage (2.25 ERA) going against Carolina’s LHP Folger Boaz (1.80 ERA). A couple strong arms on the mound in this border battle. I really like this UNC offense led by Casey Cook .625/.714/.875. Tar Heels will be looking for revenge after losing to ECU at home last year. Give me the plus money.

  • 5:00pm cst: Samford Bulldogs (+114) vs. UCF Knights (-145); Total 15

Here is another matchup where I feel like UCF is a bit overvalued coming off a victory over Miami. Samford is hot offensively and at this price, hard to pass up.

  • 6:00pm cst: Iowa Hawkeyes (-125) vs. Auburn Tigers (-105); Total 12.5

I have to back the top MLB prospect in this one with Iowa’s RHP Brody Brecht (2.08 ERA) over Auburn’s RHP Chase Allsup (5.79 ERA).

  • 6:30pm cst: Texas State Bobcats (-140) vs. Kansas Jayhawks (+110); Total 14

Again, I prefer this explosive Texas State offense. I think they can get the job done. We are also long on the Bobcats, adding them to our futures bank.

  • 6:30pm cst: Indiana Hoosiers (-175) vs. Baylor Bears (+135); Total 12.5

Baylor had a very tough schedule to start the season. I still think they are undervalued in a game they can pull off an upset in.

  • 7:00pm cst: Arkansas Razorbacks (-125) vs. Oregon State Beavers (-105); Total 11.5

Arkansas will probably have a strong contingent in Arlington, Texas but Oregon State has already played here earlier in the week. I like this Oregon State team especially when they have RHP Aiden May (1.69 ERA) on the mound. I like the price with this Beavers squad.

  • 7:00pm cst: Nebraska Corn Huskers (+135) vs. Grand Canyon Antelopes (-175); Total 12

After Nebraska’s huge upset win last night their was a lot of talking from Nebraska fans. I think the Lopes get back on track tonight.

Pick: Grand Canyon -1.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:00pm cst: Arizona Wildcats (-145) vs. San Diego Toreros (+114); Total 14

We are high on San Diego and their aggressive offense, which is why we have a futures ticket on them. Arizona also has a good team but the price is right with San Diego at home.

  • 8:00pm cst: UConn Huskies (+114) vs. Cal Golden Bears (-145); Total 12.5

Let’s continue to buy on this Cal offense.

  • 8:30pm cst: Portland Pilots (+130) vs. USC Trojans (-166); Total 11.5

USC has done nothing to warrant being a favorite this high. Portland has strong team that is very undervalued here.
