This game will be played in DeLand, Florida for the Stetson Tournament. Iowa will have their LHP ace, Cade Obermueller (0.00 ERA) on the mound who pitched a 5 inning shutout baseball against
USF. For Notre Dame, 6’5” sophomore RHP Jack Radel (0.00 ERA) who also had a stunning debut. To me, the difference in this game is the offense and I like the Irish bats. Along with the dog price, that’s the route I’m going.

12:00PM CST: Washington State Cougars (-135) vs. Michigan State Spartans (+105); Total
This is an interesting matchup that will be played in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Kleberg Bank Collegiate Classic. Wazzu has started the season (0-4) after facing a tough Arkansas team in Fayetteville. Michigan State is off to a hot (4-0) start defeating Western Michigan and Monmouth. This should be a good game. The weather looks to be cold and ugly in Corpus today with two strong pitchers on the mound. I am waiting for the total to be posted. This feels like a game where Washington State finally gets in the win column. It’s also a step up in competition for MSU.

I am shocked at this number on Liberty. I would have made this -180+. Liberty has come out this season, for lack of a better term, on fire. Especially their pitching. It’s been outstanding. The Flames won’t have their ace or one of them on the mound today but I still think they get the job done. The more talented team wins.

Tulane is off to a nice (4-0) start and the Pride are ice cold. Let’s continue to fade them and back the Green Wave.

2:00PM CST: UC Irvine Anteaters (-125) vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (-105); Total 14
Texas Tech is coming off the losing end of a sweep at Chapel Hill against North Carolina. UCI started hot but loss to USC during the week on Dog Tuesday. It’ll be about 33 degrees in Lubbock. Tech found something in their bullpen over the weekend who came up huge for them. Something that Irvine struggled with against Vanderbilt and USC. I’m going to back Tech in this one and the Under based on the cold Lubbock weather.

I think this is a huge misprice on TCU. Are they the better team? There’s a good chance but Michigan can pull the upset with their offense. I’ll take a chance at this price with Michigan against the TCU pitching.

Like I said last week, I’m not a believer in Virginia this year. Oregon State will be enjoying the weather today in Round Rock as well. Not sure who the pitchers are but I’ll be backing the Beavers at this price.

I love this FAU team. UConn on the other hand is a team we will continue to fade until proven otherwise. We’ll gladly take the plus money with FAU.

These two meet again after having a battle during last postseason. The pitching hasn’t been there for Kansas State. I thought about going with the dog ML but I think we get runs tonight. That was my gut instinct.

I am feeling the opposite will happen in this game. Two strong pitchers on the mound in what should be a cool night. I think we get a pitchers duel in the desert.

I don’t think these Houston Cougars want to be playing in the cold in Round Rock tonight. I think the better team wins this one and weather will be a factor. I’m taking the better team. The price isn’t too high just yet.
