Champions League Knockout Phase 1st Leg Tuesday

11:45AM CST: Stade Brest (+800) vs. Paris Saint-Germain (-310); Total 3.5
Our first matchup will be against two French Ligue One foes. It’s hard to go against history in this one. Brest has lost 30 straight matches to reach the final 16 (D8, L22. Not good. PSG started slow but ended on a hot streak. I think we get goals in this one. PSG has also had strong success at Brest. I would prefer getting plus money on either side on the spread so I’ll pass.

2:00PM CST: Manchester City (-105) vs. Real Madrid (+240); Total 3.5
This is always one of my favorite matchups to watch. City hasn’t been as sharp as in years past and Real Madrid loves this matchup. This price is too good to pass up on a live Madrid side. City isn’t what they used to be. At least they have to prove it to us again tonight. Last time we saw these two they were tied so I am grabbing the half point just in case.

2:00PM CST: Juventus (-105) vs. PSV (+285); Total 2.5
Both of these sides met earlier in the UCL with Juve winning (3-1). Juventus is starting to turn things around after a little cold spell. Juventus will need to bounce back on their home pitch whereas PSV does struggle on the road. We get goals with a Juve victory. With red hot Randal Kolo Muani makes the difference in his first start.

This game definitely feels like a toss up. Sporting Lisbon has struggled in this situation historically but under new management Sporting has been strong at home. I’ll back the home team here.
