College Basketball Season Record: 191-184-12 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 11:00am ct: Florida Gators vs. South Carolina Gamecocks -2; Total 145

This is close to a dead even game. The Cocks will be playing at home starting a brutal three game stretch to end the season: Florida, Tennessee and Mississippi State. Both teams are still fighting for first place in the SEC and a potential #1 seed in my opinion. I prefer the Gators rebounding and defense. I’ll take the points with Florida as a proven strong road team.

Pick: Florida +2 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 11:00am ct: Villanova Wildcats vs. Providence Friars -2.5; Total 134.5

The last time these two met, Villanova could not miss from deep. Providence didn’t play a bad game but they could not keep up with the Wildcats scoring. The Friars ended up losing by 18 points. Providence needs to win this game to stay in the NCAA tournament conversation and bump Villanova off the bubble. It’s time for some Friars revenge.

Pick: Providence -2.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00pm ct: Kansas Jayhawks vs. Baylor Bears -5.5; Total 144.5

Kansas isn’t as tough on the road as they are at home. Baylor is playing just as good as anyone in the country. If they play defense like they did against TCU then I expect a big game from them.

Pick: Baylor -5.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 1:30pm ct: Marquette Golden Eagles vs. Creighton Blue Jays -6; Total 154

Nobody is playing better on their home floor than the Creighton Blue Jays (maybe Houston). Marquette isn’t great on the road so this sets up perfectly for the Blue Jays to get a huge home win. I’ll lay it here.

  • 3:00pm ct: USC Trojans vs. Washington Huskies -4.5; Total 155

I really like the way Washington looked against UCLA on their home floor. They were playing fast and aggressive. This Huskies team may be getting hot at the right time to try and make a run in the Pac12 Tournament. If they play as aggressive as they did against UCLA they should not have a problem in this game.

  • 4:30pm ct: Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs. Virginia Tech -1.5; Total 149.5

The Hokies have gotten their teeth kicked in their last two games after a blowout win over Virginia. Wake Forest has been hit and miss but mostly miss on the road. I think Virginia Tech’s three point shooting and ability to get the ball inside the paint will give them the edge they need today.

  • 6:00pm cst: Kansas State Wildcats vs. Cincinnati Bearcats -6.5; Total 138.5

Cincinnati has been ice cold and now they’re laying 6.5 at home? I mean, if they make 50% from three I could see this happening but damn. Too many points against a veteran K-State team looking to sneak into the tournament.

  • 6:45pm ct: Clemson Tigers -6 vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish; Total 131.5

Clemson have been road warriors this season but this Notre Dame team is starting to play some great basketball. The Irish are hot and could be a bump in the road for the Tigers looking to boost their resume for NCAA seeding.

Pick: Notre Dame +6 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm ct: Tennessee Volunteers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide -3.5; Total 171

What a great matchup we have tonight. Tennessee is running hot but Alabama is still trying to fight to win the SEC. Alabama has played great on both sides of the ball at home. I think they trip up a Vols team that can struggle on the road.

Pick: Alabama -3.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:00pm ct: TCU Horned Frogs vs. BYU Cougars -7; Total 157.5

I do not like the way TCU has been playing lately especially on offense. This Horned Frogs team may have peaked too early with amazing three point shooting from non-three point shooters. They are coming back to earth and BYU is strong as ever playing on their home floor.
