College Basketball Season Record: 141-139-9 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 12:00pm cst: Purdue Boilermakers -2.5 vs. Wisconsin Badgers; Total 144.5

Wisconsin is coming into this game after blowing a 16 points halftime lead against Nebraska on the road. That was the first time Wisconsin ever blew a lead of 16 points or more at halftime. We know that Purdue will more than likely be gifted 50 free throws today. If the officials call a straight game, I think Wisky can bounce back in this one. This is a battle for first place in the Big 10 and a possible 1 seed is on the line. I’ll take the home team in this one that has some size to combat Edey in the post.

Pick: Wisconsin +2.5 (-105) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:00pm cst: Providence Friars vs. Villanova Wildcats -4.5; Total 137

Villanova is ice cold right now and is laying a solid number here. Providence is a great road team and they seem to be playing hard every game trying to stay in the NCAA tournament field. I like Providences defense and rebounding abilities here. This is too large of a number for Villanova based on the way they have been playing. I’ll take my chances with the road dog.

Pick: Providence +4.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:00pm cst: UAB Blazers vs. SMU Mustangs -7.5; Total 151.5

SMU plays great defense. We know that but they tend to struggle offensively. They can go on cold runs or turn the ball over too many times. UAB has been hanging around playing tough with the top of the AAC. I do not expect that to change today. They also have SMU’s number. Too many points for the Mustangs to be laying once again. I’ll take the points here as this game should be no more than SMU -4.

Pick: UAB +7.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:30pm cst: Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Illinois Fighting Illini -10; Total 154

There is one thing we noticed with Nebraska in their game against Wisconsin and that is they struggle with size. They had a tough time grabbing rebounds in that game. If they struggled against Wisky then they should struggle against a huge, physical Illinois team. This is a large number but I think Illinois size will give Nebraska problems. Also, the Cornhuskers are set up for a massive let down spot after their miraculous comeback win at home against Wisconsin.

Pick: Illinois -10 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm cst: Stanford Cardinal vs. Arizona Wildcats -17.5; Total 164

Earlier this season Stanford blew out Arizona in Palo Alto, which was very surprising at the time. Now, Arizona will be trying to get their revenge. Not so fast! Arizona should win this game but 17.5 points feels like too many. U of A was able to dominate Cal and win by 26 points but I think Stanford matches up better with their size. Stanford is a patient team that should be able to keep their composure. Arizona may win this game by 20 but I think Stanford can keep it close or sneak in through the backdoor.

Pick: Stanford +17.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]
