College Basketball Sides Season Record: 12-16-0 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

• 11:00am cst: Georgia Bulldogs vs. Providence Friars -5;

I do not think the Georgia offense has enough fire power to play with the Friars. We know Georgia struggles with rebounding and playing strong defenses. That is what Providence brings to the table. I will lay the points here backing the much better team. Let’s hope there is no sleep walking from the Friars and they are a bit pissed off after that Kansas State loss.

• 11:30pm cst: North Texas Mean Green -5 vs. Towson Tigers

We talk constantly about North Texas living and dying by the three point line. It kills them constantly but their defense has been great. It is also important to mention they almost never miss FTs. I think the defense who is rested clamps down on Townson and they let that three ball fly. I think the defense will be too much for Towson.

• 12:00pm cst: UCONN Huskies -11 vs. Indiana Hoosiers

UCONN has one of the best offenses and defenses in the country to start out the season. Neither team has been tested thus far. I feel like both will want to get up and down the court today though. I am not sure the Hoosiers are quite ready for this step up in competition. I do not want to lay double digits on a neutral court here so I will take this one over the total.

• 12:00pm cst: Mississippi State Bulldogs -3.5 vs. Northwestern Wildcats

This game will be played at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. These offenses are nothing special to start the season. We know that Miss. State will be bringing a suffocating defense and I think it will be too much for this Northwestern offense to handle. I grade these offenses close to equal so give me the vast superior defense with some of the best rebounding in the country.

• 1:30pm cst: Kansas State Wildcats vs. Miami Hurricanes -3

We have tried to fade this Miami team but it looks like they are the real deal with no hangover from last season. Kansas State is still trying to figure out their team with all the new pieces. This is a short number for a veteran Miami team. Buying on the Hurricanes with a short number here.

• 2:00pm cst: LSU Tigers vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons pick

I was really impressed with this LSU team’s defense against North Texas. If they play the same type of defense against Wake Forest they will find success. They like to get the ball in transition and use their speed. They also have size. LSU continues to be undervalued so let’s take advantage.
