College Basketball Season Record: 134-127-9 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

• 5:30pm cst: Alabama Crimson Tide -6 vs. Georgia Bulldogs; Total 166.5

I expect a track meet in this game. Alabama is hot coming off two strong wins last week and Georgia lost in OT to Florida. The Bulldogs were not able to get the upset win against Tennessee a couple weeks ago so this is a huge game regarding their tournament chances. This will come down to the 3PT line. Whichever team makes the most threes will win the game. I expect Georgia to do just that. The way games have gone this week except for Kansas State, home teams have had a massive advantage. I’ll take the dogs here.

Pick: Georgia +6 (-105) [via DraftKings]

• 6:00pm cst: Baylor Bears -3.5 vs. UCF Knights; Total 138.5

Both of these teams have posted three wins in the Big 12 so far to start the season. UCF has been great at home. They are a very strong defensive and rebounding team. Baylor has a top five offense while UCF has a top five defense. UCF has an underrated offense. They are able to make some threes and dominate the offensive glass for second chance points. I like the Knights in this game because of its defense and rebounding.

• 6:00pm cst: Cincinnati Bearcats -4 vs. West Virginia Mountaineers; Total 143.5

Cincinnati had a great come from behind win against UCF on Saturday and now they have a date with the Mountaineers. We have an old Big East rivalry here that has now been renewed. West Virginia has been pretty bad this year with all of their transfers and the unexpected firing of Bob Huggins. Cinci can struggle on the offensive side of the ball. WVU can pull an upset here if they make their threes. I’ll take a shot here in what will probably be an ugly game.

• 7:00pm cst: Florida Gators vs. Kentucky Wildcats -7; Total 170.5

Tennessee got caught slipping before their big matchup against Kentucky this weekend. Will Kentucky suffer the same fate? I think it helps UK that Tennessee lost. They should be locked in for this game. I am not a fan of Florida. They play a little defense and can only shoot threes it seems. Kentucky can lock them up if the focus is there. I’ll lay the points here with the Wildcats.

• 9:30pm cst: Boise State Broncos vs. New Mexico Lobos -11; Total 149.5

Here come our Boise State Broncos heading into the Pit tonight. Boise is such an underrated team and they have New Mexico’s number. They just matchup well against them. New Mexico has a strong team that’s top 25 in both offense and defense. There is no denying their talent but laying 11 points may just be a few too many. I’ll take the double digits with the road team that matches up well with the Lobos.
