College Basketball Season Record: 125-110-9 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
6:00pm cst: Kentucky Wildcats -6 vs. South Carolina Gamecocks; Total 155.5
The Gamecocks knocked Kentucky off in Rupp Arena last season but can they do it on their home floor? After the loss to Alabama I was not sure how good the Gamecocks really were but they were impressive on the road against Arkansas. Kentucky is our #3 team in the country but they have been struggling in the rebound department, which South Carolina does not excel at. This feels like one of those games where the Gamecocks can turn their season all the way around with an upset victory. I think they’ll be able to keep this one close. I had this spread at about UK -4.

6:00pm cst: Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners -4.5; Total 142.5
The Longhorns are coming off a great buzzer beater home win against Baylor and now have the Red River Rivalry on the road. It may not seem like it but Texas has won the last five games against Oklahoma. OU has the better team in my opinion but Texas can be relentless. We’ll see if Rodney Terry’s Longhorns have the same fight they did against Baylor. They had the offensive fight but defensively they didn’t even bother showing up. The last three games between these two have been settled by a grand total of five points. I have Oklahoma about -2.5 here. I’m grabbing the points with the Longhorns.

6:00pm cst: Wisconsin Badgers -3.5 vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers; Total 139
It may not look like it from the outside looking in but these Golden Gophers have had the Badgers’ number the past couple of seasons. This is also one of Minnesota’s best teams in quite some time. Wisconsin has a look ahead spot against Michigan at home as well. This has every ingredient for an underdog upset. I’m backing the Golden Gophers in a game they might win.

6:00pm cst: West Virginia Mountaineers vs. UCF Knights -8; Total 142
The Mountaineers are coming off a massive home upset over Kansas and the Knights are off a beating from Houston where they had the worst FG% of all time against Houston. I am expecting a massive game from UCF on the defensive and offensive side of the ball. UCF needs to continue to rebound and chase WVU off the 3PT line and they will dominate.

6:00pm cst: Saint Joseph’s Hawks vs. UMASS Minutemen -3; Total 153
Despite early season expectations, Saint Joe’s is now headed in the wrong direction while UMASS could not be any hotter. UMASS is just a better team right now on both sides of the ball. They are a short favorite and I like them to take care of business in a must win game.

8:00pm cst: Houston Cougars -2.5 vs. BYU Cougars; Total 136
Will Houston lose a third game on the road? This is an interesting game because Houston and BYU are at the very top of all important metrics. Now, BYU will have an opportunity to knock off our #7 UofH squad off two huge home wins. We know the Big 12 is a bloodbath and this game will be no different. BYU has struggled against bigger, more physical teams built like Houston. They have losses to Utah, Texas Tech and Cincinnati. If their three pointers fall they can be successful but it’s their interior that I worry about. With Houston their offense struggled on the road against good defenses. This game may grade out as even so I’ll go ahead and take the points with BYU at home. This is a must win game for BYU.
