• 6:00pm cst: Houston Cougars -2.5 vs. Iowa State Cyclones; Total 130.5

This will be the Cyclones’ first real test and they must face our #2 team in the country the Houston Cougars. Iowa State has had a very easy schedule to this point and OU defeated them in Norman on Saturday. Iowa State is a 3PT shooting team without much more going for them. They live and die by the three ball. Houston is the 4th best 3PT defensive team in the nation. I’ll back the much tougher Houston team on the road. If Iowa State shoots 60% from three we’ll lose but I prefer defense in this scenario.

• 6:00pm cst: Missouri Tigers vs. Kentucky Wildcats -11.5; Total 159.5

Missouri lost a lot of their team and definitely their key pieces from last season. The Tigers have been struggling to put together some wins. Kentucky on the other hand is full systems and our fourth best team in the country. They play suffocating defense and are very fast. I don’t see this Mizzou team keeping up with them.

• 6:00pm cst: Texas Longhorns vs. Cincinnati Bearcats -5; Total 146

The Longhorns have been a disappointment this season because of their lack of offense. The defense plays tough but only for so long without any help on the other end. Cincinnati showed Saturday that they are real contenders. Last year the Longhorns were great on the road but not so much this season. I’ll take the Bearcats in their Big 12 home debut.

Pick: Cincinnati -5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

• 6:00pm cst: Kansas State Wildcats -2 vs. West Virginia Mountaineers; Total 141

West Virginia is in a brutal tailspin ready to crash and burn. Aside from their 7’ center, WVU does not have much else and they struggle with physical teams that play defense. Kansas State has been impressive on defense and they love to play on the road. The only worry here is if the Wildcats are looking ahead to Texas Tech. Something they can’t afford to do in conference play.

Pick: Kansas State -2 (-112) [via DraftKings]

• 6:00pm cst: South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Alabama Crimson Tide -12; Total 153

This game will definitely be filled with offense. South Carolina loves to run and shoot just as much as Alabama does. The Crimson Tide just don’t play very much defense and that is where the Gamecocks can keep close in this one. South Carolina is underrated and this number feels like it is a bit high. A track meet will probably break out in this game.

Pick: South Carolina +12 (-110) [via DraftKings]

• 8:00pm cst: BYU Cougars vs. Baylor Bears -4; Total 154.5

BYU was blasted on their own home court by Cincinnati on Saturday and now they have a tough road test. This game will definitely be BYU’s defense against Baylor’s offense. Both are the best in the country on each side of the ball. It’s a big game for BYU to get up off the mat for. I like Baylor’s offense at home.

Pick: Baylor -4 (-115) [via DraftKings]

• 8:00pm cst: Texas A&M Aggies vs. Auburn Tigers -7;.5 Total 147.5

Texas A&M is not as hot as they were last season but they still have plenty of talent. Auburn on the other hand is red hot. Auburn just destroyed Arkansas by 30 points and are back home against a tough A&M team. The Aggies play a tough style of defense that gives Auburn trouble. The Tigers are improved but this is a matchup problem for Auburn. I’ll take the road points.

Pick: Texas A&M +7.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

• 8:00pm cst: Colorado State Rams -2 vs. Boise State Broncos; Total 145.5

Colorado State was off to a very hot start to the season but they are now being tested. Utah State smoked them and now they must face Boise on the road. This Broncos team is not as good as they were last season but they are still tough. Boise has had great success against Colorado State and I think they do it again tonight.

Pick: Boise State +2 (-112) [via DraftKings]

• 8:00pm cst: Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -6.5; Total 133.5

The Irish have been getting better every game but they are still very young. Georgia Tech has been all over the place and they have not done much good. Notre Dame has the offense to keep this game close and even pull off the win. They have been good on the road and GT has not shown us much especially after losing to BC at home.
