We have made it to the NCAA Tournament where we will be previewing all of the NCAA Regionals giving as much information as possible. The articles will paired with the regionals that would match up in Supers. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and futures plays for the World Series and Regional winners if they post them. Our wagers are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.

NCAA Tournament Record (-4.14 units)

Fayetteville Regional

• 2:00pm cst: #4 Santa Clara Broncos (+120) vs. Arizona Wildcats (-150)

The Broncos got ran over a bit by the Razorbacks but they still held their own for a bit. For the Wildcats they jumped in front of TCU in the top of the 1st inning and that was as close as they got. I would not lay this number on U of A because as we talked about last night, I am not a believer in this Arizona team. Santa Clara has a legit shot at winning this game and that is where I’m going. I lean the over as well but it is U of A I worry about. I think that Arkansas game gave the Broncos some confidence.

Pick: Santa Clara (+120)

• 8:00pm cst: #2 TCU Horned Frogs (+135) vs. #1 Arkansas Razorbacks (-165)

Yes, we have a CWS future on TCU because they are incredibly hot. Arkansas is one of the best teams in the country as well. This will be a great game I’m hesitant to play over the run total without knowing who will be on the mound. I’m rolling with TCU in enemy territory. The Arkansas ML is too high.

Pick: TCU (+135)

Terre Haut Regional

• 11:00pm cst: #4 Wright State Raiders (+180) vs. #3 North Carolina Tar Heels (-220)

Wright State went head to head with Indiana State until the very end. The Tar Heels started off slow but mustered a comeback against Iowa falling short. I expect another good performance from Wright State after a confidence building Game 1.

Pick: Wright State (+180)

• 6:00pm cst: #2 Iowa Hawkeyes (-115) vs. #1 Indiana State Sycamores (-115)

Our worries about Indiana State were true as they struggled mightily against Wright State. Iowa had a great game against UNC and they finished strong after the Tar Heels attempted a comeback. To me Iowa is the better team and they will prove it here.

Pick: Iowa (-115)

College World Series Futures (0-0):

• TCU 75/1 (via Draft Kings) [6/2/23]

We will be choosing a College World Series winner out of these groupings so a total of 8. This will be monitored throughout the weekend and updated.

Do I think Arkansas is the best team between both of these regionals? I do but TCU is such a close second for me. Iowa is also at 3. The Razorbacks are the 4th favorite to win the National Championship. The cardiac ‘Backs who continued to come from behind in the SEC tournament just finding ways to win. Honestly, because Arkansas is at home and Iowa could probably steal the regional in Terre Haute they may be the way to go instead of TCU. It’s a tough decision. I prefer TCU’s strength of competion and winning the Big 12 Championship means something.
