College Football Record: 101-102-8 . Betting 1 Unit to Win X.

  • 11:00am cst: Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Texas Longhorns -15; Total 56.5

We have a great game lined up to kick off the day. Nothing ever goes to plan when these two teams meet. Texas is the superior team looking for a big win to secure their CFP ticket. Oklahoma State is looking to play spoiler in their last Big 12 matchup with the Longhorns. This line has barely moved and is holding pretty steady at Texas -15. Texas has not done a great job at keeping double digit leads especially late in football games. Oklahoma State is a formidable opponent that Texas should not take lightly. In my opinion it is too many points to lay in a conference championship game between rivals.

Pick: Oklahoma State +15 (-110) [via Caesars]

  • 2:00pm cst: Boise State Broncos -2.5 vs. UNLV Rebels; Total 60.5

These team are pretty even and have not faced each other in a few years. Boise definitely has the upper hand with the running game and Ashton Jeanty, one of the most fierce running backs in college football. I think that gives the Broncos the upper hand offensively. UNLV has a decent defense and their offense isn’t too bad either. This will essentially be a home game for UNLV in Las Vegas so they should have a good turn out. I have these teams rated close to equal. I’m taking the points with the home team.

Pick: UNLV +2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:00pm cst: Georgia Bulldogs -5 vs. Alabama Crimson Tide; Total 54.5

We have a heavyweight showdown between these two SEC teams. Georgia the two time defending SEC Champion and National Champion puts their belt on the line against the Alabama Crimson Tide. This will definitely be the best team that Georgia has faced all season. I would say the same for Alabama but they already played Texas. Jalen Milroe has been outstanding and has gotten better each game. Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has also been quietly improving. I do rate the Alabama defense slightly higher than Georgia’s. I feel like this is still too many points to lay in a game of this magnitude. Georgia may be getting more respect they deserve based on past accomplishments. I could be wrong but I like Alabama in this game. It kind of reminds me of a few years ago when Bama was an underdog and beat Georgia straight up in the SEC championship game and later lost in the national championship. I like Alabama to cover and win this game.

Pick: Alabama +5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:00pm cst: SMU Mustangs vs. Tulane Green Wave -3; Total 47

I honestly do not see SMU having a real shot here without quarterback Preston Stone. I am sure the backup could do a good job but this Tulane defense is pretty good. They made UTSA quarterback Frank Harris look like a freshman last week. I expect the same from them today. The Tulane offense has also been humming recently. The only worry here is that the backup for SMU has a great day (unlikely) and the Willie Fritz to Houston rumors are real. If they are, I expect a very spirited performance today from Tulane.

Pick: Tulane -3 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:00pm cst: Appalachian State vs. Troy Trojans -5.5; Total 55

I rate these team evenly. Troy does have a great defense but I feel like this is just too many points to lay in a championship game. Short handicap but going with the numbers.

Pick: App State +5.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
