College Football Record: 46-54-6 . Betting 1 Unit to Win X.

  • 11:00am cst: Michigan State Spartans vs. Rutgers Scarlet Knights; Total 39.5

Michigan State has been struggling on offense and the Rutgers defense especially at home has been great. The Scarlet Knights are putting together a strong season on their way to a bowl game. They need this win and are the much better side. I’m laying the points here with Rutgers.

Pick: Rutgers -4.5 (-110) [via Caesars]

  • 2:30pm cst: Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Maryland Terrapins -13.5; Total 51

I am surprised Illinois is taking money here. Illinois plays Wisconsin next and Maryland has a bye week. I do not think Maryland sleep walks here waiting for the bye week after the way the Ohio State game ended. I thought they would have a “look ahead” against Indiana but they killed the Hoosiers. So, I expect Maryland to be focused before the bye week. Maryland has a very underrated defense and Taulia has been on point this season. I like Maryland here now that the spread is under 14.5.

Pick: Maryland -13.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: Oregon Ducks vs. Washington Huskies -3; Total 66.5

I talked about this game on Twitch earlier in the week. I made the game Washington -2. These are two great teams and we should have one hell of a ball game. I think this game is close to a pick em but with Washington being at home they get a couple of points. The Huskies ruined the Ducks season last year with a road upset. I think the tables will be turned this year and the Ducks get revenge. Washington may have better weapons on the outside but I rate Oregon better in all the other categories, including quarterback. I also prefer the Oregon defense to Washingtons. The first pressure situation we have seen Pennix in was against Arizona and they did enough to win but he did not look great. The team that wins the turnover battle will win the game. I’m siding with Bo Nix and the Oregon defense getting one too many points.

Pick: Oregon +3 (-102) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: Texas A&M Aggies vs. Tennessee Volunteers -3; Total 54.5

Ok, first of all let’s talk about the elephant in the room: Jimbo Fisher cannot win and has never won on the road in the SEC. Tennessee has recieved a bad reputation from their road loss against Florida. It’s now been obvious Florida reached its peak in that game. I really liked the way Tennessee played at home against South Carolina. They worked the running game and opened up the passing game. The Vols defense was also flying around. The Volunteers are off a bye and Aggies are coming off an ass whup’n from Alabama. Yeah, I love Tennessee in this game.

Pick: Tennessee -3 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: Florida Gators vs. South Carolina Gamecocks -2; Total 50.5

Let’s pick up where we left off from on the Tennessee handicap. Florida can only win at home. They have shown absolutely nothing other than a perfect game against the Volunteers. When South Carolina played Tennessee, in the pregame handicap we talked about how much I have liked Spencer Rattler this season. He has not been perfect but he has been playing great for a player with limited weapons and a very low rated offensive line. He also lost one of his best weapons for the season I believe. He has been tough as nails. Shane Beamer called a very poor game from a Head Coaching standpoint against Tennessee. Very conservative, which is not his game style. It cost him. So, I love backing a coach off an embarrassing performance especially with one that is capable of bouncing back. Short number for an underrated South Carolina team.

Pick: South Carolina -2 (-110) [via Caesars]

  • 6:30pm cst: Miami Hurricanes vs. North Carolina Tar Heels -2.5; Total 56.5

The Miami Hurricanes are coming off an embarrassing loss to Georgia Tech thanks to coaching malpractice from Mario Cristobal. North Carolina on the other hand has been soaring below the radar. QB Drake Maye has not had a wild season most were expecting but they keep on winning. Now, it’s game on for Maye and Mack Brown. I trust this Carolina team at home who has been more consistent. Short number. I like this anything three or less.

Pick: North Carolina -2.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: Missouri Tigers vs. Kentucky Wildcats -2.5; Total 50.5

This should be a great game. Missouri has been playing a tough schedule and now has Kentucky on the road in a night game. Kentucky has a bye coming up but just came off getting their teeth kicked in by Georgia. I really like this Kentucky running game with Ray Davis but will the defense be able to stop Luther Burden III and Cook. The Wildcats has Mizzou’s number. I’m laying it with the Cats at home.

Pick: Kentucky -2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: USC Trojans vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish -2.5; Total 60.5

This should be a great game. Finesse with USC vs. Toughness with Notre Dame. Is Notre Dame tough? They’ve shown it in the Ohio State and Duke game but they still split those games. Tonight will be their defining game. I like the offensive line of Notre Dame, their defense, running game and veteran quarterback presence of Sam Hartman. The Irish will do what they can to win this game in the trenches and I love that. This will be a huge bounce back game for the Irish after being embarrassed by Louisville. The Southern California Trojans have been in three gang fights in a row. Will they be ready for another? I’m betting no.

Pick: Notre Dame -2.5 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm cst: UCLA Bruins vs. Oregon State Beavers -3.5; Total 54

Oregon State has a very underrated defense but so does UCLA. The main difference between these teams is can UCLA’s freshman quarterback handle the wild environment in Corvallis? Oregon State has a great homefield and these two teams have a common opponent in Utah. Yes, we saw what the Beavers did to Utah. It got ugly. This Oregon State team is very strong especially on the offensive line. I will take my chances with the Beavers getting this hook. This line will move to four.

Pick: Oregon State -3.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
