  • 6:00pm cst: Louisiana Tech Bulldogs vs. Mid Tenn State Blue Raiders -3; Total 54

Another weekday, another Middle Tennessee game where they are favored. Is it because they are a good team or just because they are at home? Yeah, it is not because they have a good team. Louisiana Tech has been competitive in their games and has had MTSU’s number the past few years. Too many points for the Blue Raiders to be laying in the state they are currently in. The house was rocking with their blackout last week, and they were beat by 14 by Jacksonville State. I’ll take the points here.

Pick: Louisiana Tech +3 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: Liberty Flames -7 vs. Jacksonville State Gamecocks; Total 58.5

Liberty started the season hot (no pun intended), but Sam Houston State gave them a game last week. Now, Jacksonville State is a touchdown dog tonight. They will be in their sharp all-white throwback uniforms, so I am expecting a whiteout crowd. The house will be rocking in what is the biggest C-USA game in Jacksonville State’s young FBS history. Rich Rodriguez has this team heading in the right direction, and if they can limit their turnovers, especially from the QBs, I expect a possible upset. I will gladly take the seven points.

Pick: Jacksonville State +7 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:30pm cst: Coastal Carolina Chanticleers vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers -5; Total 61.5

This may be considered a rivalry within the Sun Belt Conference. Coastal Carolina has been very inconsistent this season, even with a veteran offense. In my opinion, they are very unimpressive. Appalachian State has been the opposite this year. With a younger team, they have been very competitive and one could make the argument this team should be undefeated. The Coastal defense is pretty weak, and the Appalachian State offense is underrated. I like Appalachian State to “ruffle some feathers” against the Chanticleers in what looks to be a blackout at home. The crowd will be loud tonight.

Pick: App. State -5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
