• 6:00pm cst: Sam Houston State Bearkats vs. Liberty Flames -21; Total 46.5

The Bearkats are back on Thursday night after a heartbreaking loss to the Jax State Gamecocks. Liberty, on the other hand, is off a bye week. With an undefeated record and extra rest, I can see these Liberty Flames ready to play, especially a “weaker” SHSU squad. I do not think I could play Sam Houston based on this fact, but Sam Houston may have found something in themselves against Jax State. I think we may see a spirited effort from Sam Houston, but I will not be taking the 21 or laying the points (too many). If Sam Houston can score two touchdowns, I see this game going over the total.

• 7:00pm cst: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers -6 vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs; Total 58.5

All the money is on Louisiana Tech tonight. I am not sure I can trust their defense, which can barely tackle. Western Kentucky has gone through a tougher schedule and has the better offense. I’ll lay the six points here and see if all the sheep betting on LaTech get slaughtered or prance away.
