  • 11:00AM CST: Houston Cougars vs. Cincinnati Bearcats -3.5; Total 48

I like this Big 12 matchup because we have seen plenty of both teams thus far this season. Cincinnati has shown potential but has been dealing with many injuries on the defensive side of the football. The Bearcats’ defense has been terrible this season, and the offense has been okay. They’ve scored points, but the competition has been weak compared to Houston’s road. The Cougars’ QB Donovan Smith is off to a hot start and should be able to continue that against Cincinnati. Smith, along with the tough Houston defense, should give Cincinnati problems. I like the Cougars getting at least a field goal, love the hook.

  • 2:30PM CST: USC Trojans -4.5 vs. Michigan Wolverines; Total 44

USC comes into this game undefeated, playing their first Big Ten game in the team’s history. Michigan is looking to get their season back on the right track after Texas took them to the woodshed. This number got all the way to -6 for USC and has trickled down the past two days. USC has been getting plenty of money and tickets, but the spread is going the other way. Michigan will be focused after that Texas game. This will be USC quarterback Miller Moss’ first road test, along with other young players. USC defeated LSU in Las Vegas with probably the majority of the crowd on their side. I like the move to quarterback Alex Orji for Michigan. This gives Michigan a power running game they can lean on to set the tempo in this game. I think USC will be able to make plays, but I just don’t put them on the same level as I do Texas (obviously), and this game is winnable for Michigan. It’s the only way they can avenge the Texas loss and jump back into the Big Ten race.

  • 2:40PM CST: UCLA Bruins vs. LSU Tigers -21; Total 56

UCLA is not a good team. We have faded them every game and have cashed each time. LSU has been struggling all season, but they finally have an opportunity to dish out some punishment. LSU found their next great running back in Caden Durham from Duncanville HS in Texas. UCLA has one of the worst pass defenses in the country. LSU has a good passing attack that can finally flourish against lesser competition. I think LSU runs away with this game. It’s a lot of points to lay, but I just don’t see how UCLA stays in this game defensively.

Play: LSU -21 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:00PM CST: Utah Utes -1 vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys; Total 53.5

Is Utah ready for this game? They have been tough all season, but Cam Rising’s injuries have caused some inconsistency. He dominated when he was in the game against Baylor but couldn’t finish. Oklahoma State, on the other hand, has looked hot. They struggled against Arkansas but closed in OT. It’ll be the battle of the veteran quarterbacks. How will the defenses do? It’s no secret Mike Gundy is a great road dog, but he will be matched up against one of college football’s best in Kyle Whittingham. Stillwater should be hoppin’. Give me the Pokes.

Play: Oklahoma State +1 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00PM CST: Baylor Bears vs. Colorado Buffalos -1; Total 51.5

Can Colorado build on their big road win against Colorado State? They were able to control the game by working the run game, which was successful. The defense also stepped up. Baylor’s quarterback Dequan Finn is banged up and injured. He hasn’t been great and was definitely not good against Utah. I’m not saying Colorado is on the same level as Utah, but compared to who Baylor has faced so far talent-wise, they are. Colorado has the talent, but will they have the discipline? Baylor hasn’t shown us anything thus far. They struggled mightily against Utah until Cam Rising was knocked out of the game. I like the Buffs at home with their home crowd building off their big win.

Play: Colorado -1 (-105) [via DraftKings]
