  • 6:00PM CST: Florida State Seminoles vs. Duke Blue Devils -3; Total 42

Both teams are coming off of idle weeks. FSU will be starting Brock Glenn again at QB with DJU out due to “injury.” Florida State has only one win on the season against Cal, where the Golden Bears missed multiple FGs to win the game. Duke is coming off their first loss of the season against a good Georgia Tech team.

FSU did not have a decent offensive game against Clemson, and I don’t see them improving over the bye week just like they didn’t improve before the Memphis game. The Duke defense has been solid with Manny Diaz taking over in his first year. Every Duke game comes down to how Maalik Murphy performs. He tends to play poorly in the first half then incredibly in the second. If he can ever put it together for two halves, he will only get better. I think Duke is the best team. They have the better defense, offense, and quarterback. Can Florida State get up off the mat? They haven’t done anything this season to prove they can.

  • 9:15PM CST: Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. BYU Cougars -9; Total 52

Oklahoma State is coming off an idle week, and BYU killed Arizona. We cashed big with the Cougars last Saturday. The rumor around town is that Mike Gundy will be making a change at QB. I think Alan Bowman is terrible, but if he’s starting, then you know there isn’t much talent behind him. This BYU team has been headhunting on defense this season as well. They also have a great run defense. This will force OSU to throw the ball and it will play right into BYU’s hands. The early and mostly irrelevant CFP Rankings had BYU out of the Playoff. I think that is some good motivation for this team of underdogs. Night game in Provo? I feel like BYU is going to kick the tar out of Oklahoma State. Everything is going wrong for the Pokes, and BYU has all the momentum in the world. Let’s go soaking!

  • 9:30PM CST: Fresno State Bulldogs -3 vs. Nevada Wolf Pack; Total 49

Fresno State isn’t as good as we thought heading into this season, and Nevada has improved. The Bulldogs lost a winnable game last week, while the Wolf Pack won a game I thought they were going to lose against Oregon State. Nevada was great to us at the beginning of the year, and now it’s time to back them once again. Nevada also dominated Fresno State last season. This Friday night home dog will hunt!

Play: Nevada +3 (-112) [via DraftKings]
